The Underwood Motel | Starke Florida
The Underwood Motel was at one point one of many motels along the stretch of highway 301, in 2007 it was one of few still standing. The old neon sign which stood outside the dilapidated motel became a landmark for those traveling up and down Highway 301. The motel owned by Bill and Debbie Buby went through a fire as and as it spread the structure would never recover. While there was no one around, some personal artifacts were left behind such as personal photos, shoes and kitchen utensils.
